Your privacy is important to us.  At Pan Pacific Bank, we are dedicated to providing you with responsive and personalized service.   We understand that our customers furnish sensitive information to the Bank in the course of daily business; we are committed to respect the privacy of our customers and to safeguard sensitive information that has been entrusted to us.

The following privacy notice outlines our Bank’s practices regarding personally identifiable financial information for consumers, including those consumers who become our customers as well as former customers.  This notice applies only to individual consumers and their representatives who obtain a financial product or service from us primarily for personal, family or household purposes. 

We may change this notice at any time and if so will give you any notice then required by law.

“Nonpublic personal information” is personally identifiable information about you that is not publicly available, such as the information we obtain about you in connection with financial products or services you apply for or obtain from us, as well as information regarding your account balance, payment history and overdraft history, and even the fact that you are our customer.

Information Disclosed by the Bank

The Bank does not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers, to nonaffiliated third parties, except as permitted by law. 

  • "As permitted by law" includes disclosing information in order to service or process your loan(s) or deposit account(s), respond to lawful subpoenas, prevent fraud, comply with banking laws and audits, record documents in public records, share information with credit bureaus and as directed by you.

We also may share all of the personal information that we collect about you, as described above, with third parties that perform marketing services on our behalf.

If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will continue to hold the information we have about you pursuant to the privacy policies and practices described in this notice. 

The Confidentiality and Security of Your Information

Pan Pacific Bank restricts access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to keep your nonpublic personal information safe.  Employees are educated on the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of your nonpublic personal information and on the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

Visitors to this bank Website remain anonymous.  We do not collect identifying information about visitors to our site.  We may use standard software to collect non-identifying information about our visitors, such as:

  • Date and time our site was accessed
  • IP address (a numeric address given to servers connected to the Internet)
  • Web browser used
  • City, State, and Country

The bank uses this information to create summary statistics and to determine the level of interest in information available on our site.  Visitors may elect to provide us with personal information via E-mail.  This information is used internally, as appropriate, to handle the sender’s request.  It is not disseminated or sold to other organizations.

Some areas of our Website may use a “cookie” temporarily stored in the visitor’s computer memory to allow the web server to log the pages you use within the site and to know if you have visited our site before.

Protecting Children’s Privacy Online

We feel strongly about protecting the privacy of children.  As such, we do not knowingly collect or use personal information from children under the age of 13, through the Bank’s web site, without obtaining verifiable consent from their parents and or legal guardian.  Should we determine that a child under the age of 13 sent or otherwise provided personal information to us, that information will be used only to obtain consent from their parent and or legal guardian.

INTERNET SECURITY

Our Internet Banking System brings together a combination of industry-approved security technologies to protect data for the bank and for you, our customer.  It features a multi-factor authentication entry, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol for data encryption, and a router loaded with a firewall to regulate the incoming and outgoing of service traffic.
