Senior Credit Loan Underwriter

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Underwriting

 Underwrite in a timely manner new credit requests, renewals, extensions and modifications;

 Prepare Credit Approval Report (CAR), summarizes credit analysis and identifies all critical risks;

 Ensure each transaction has a thorough credit analysis, sound loan structuring, appropriate due diligence, clear communications, etc.;

 Enters the financial statements and related information to financial spreadsheet software for analysis;

 Has a full understanding of the Bank’s credit policies and existing credit arrangements;

 Prepares and coordinates month-end reports such as Loan Pipeline, Fundings, and other reports;

 Works closely with lending officers and outside customers.

Desired Skills & Experience

 Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers, prospects, senior management, regulators,etc.

 Strong analytical skills with experience in underwriting and identifying risks associated with C&I, CRE, Asset Based Lending, Accounts Receivable financing and familiarity with SBA/ B&I loans and underwriting.

 Able to document credit underwriting results in a clear and concise manner.

 Willing to work in a team environment to ensure the success of all.
